Utah Division of Radiation Control

Who We Are

The Utah Division of Radiation Control (DRC) protects Utah citizens and the environment from sources of radiation that constitute a significant health hazard. A board, appointed by the governor, establishes rules and policies to meet this requirement.

The Division staff is divided between eight programs. Division staff carry out the Division's mission and assist customers in complying with the rules. An electronic mail server is available to the public. This service is used by the DRC to provide the most timely notifications to the public about opportunities to comment on radiation control issues.

To subscribe, e-mail the DRC at Subscribe-rad-issues@list.utah.gov.
