On November 8, 2011, the Radiation Control Board heard information concerning a substantive change to R313-17, Administrative Procedures. The Board approved the proposed changes, directed staff to file the changes with the Division of Administrative Rules, and directed staff to give notice to the public of a 30-day comment period. Notice was provided by a publication in the Utah State Bulletin and through the Division of Radiation Control ListServer electronic messaging system. The Executive Secretary received comments on the proposed changes. A Summary of Public Comments and Response to Comments document is available. The Executive Secretary recommends that the Board set an effective date of March 19, 2012 for the substantive changes to R313-17. - April 13, 2010
On April 13, 2010, the Utah Radiation Control Board Voted Approval of a Depleted Uranium Performance Assessment Rule, R313-25-8, "Technical Analysis." The rule includes changes which resulted from comments received during the proposed rule's public comment period. The rule is effective June 2, 2010. - April 11, 2008
The Utah Radiation Control Board established April 11, 2008 as the effective date for a rule that will impact persons who submit documents to the Division of Radiation Control. The change will require that official submissions to the Division shall also be submitted in an electronic format.
