The Utah Division of Radiation Control (DRC) protects Utah citizens and the environment from sources of radiation that constitute a significant health hazard.
Public Interest
An electronic mail server is available to the public. This service is used by the DRC to provide the most timely notifications to the public about opportunities to comment on radiation control issues.

Starting August 4 DEQ offices will operate on extended hours to better serve your needs as part of Governor Huntsman's "Working 4 Utah" initiative. The offices will be open Monday - Thursday 7 a.m - 6 p.m. Closed Friday.

The Utah Division of Radiation Control (DRC) protects Utah citizens and the environment from sources of radiation that constitute a significant health hazard. A board, appointed by the governor, establishes rules and policies to meet this requirement.
The Division staff is divided between eight programs. Division staff carry out the Division's mission and assist customers in complying with the rules. An electronic mail server is available to the public. This service is used by the DRC to provide the most timely notifications to the public about opportunities to comment on radiation control issues.
