Who We Are
The Utah Division of Radiation Control (DRC) protects Utah citizens and the environment from sources of radiation that constitute a significant health hazard. A board, appointed by the governor, establishes rules and policies to meet this requirement.
The Division staff is divided between eight programs that carry out the Division's mission and assist customers in complying with the rules. Two electronic mail servers are available to the public. One e-mail server is used by the DRC to provide meeting notices and updates about the environmental licenses and permits for EnergySolutions. The other e-mail server is used to distribute timely notifications to the public about opportunities to comment on radiation control issues.
